The PSPCA is doing a virtual “Good Dog Jog”, a 5k run or 2k walk to raise money for their emergency relief fund. You can do it anytime between Saturday, April 4-Saturday, April 18th. It is $15 donation. More information can be found here: https://www.pspca.org/gooddogjog

Penn’s April 30×30 Nature Challenge, started this week. It is an effort to encourage the Penn community to get outside, learn about local ecology, and appreciate the beauty of nature. Join to challenge yourself to spend at least 30 minutes outdoors in nature each day. To address the facemask shortage, a team from multiple institutions (University of Pennsylvania, Archimedic and NextFab) was quickly assembled to create simple origami facemasks. They are being manufactured using hospital sterilization wraps, which is rated for 95% Viral Filtration Efficiency (VFE). Open Medical , a non-profit organization with instructional videos, template files, and other reference materials was launched:
