A Daily Lift – April 27, 2020
Good Morning,
I hope that you are doing well and that you had a nice weekend!
Our “lifts” for today:
From Diedra Krieger (PERCH)
Diedra started a mail art project to create art on old postcards to send to friends. It’s a simple, small tactile way to connect and a nice little escape for a couple of hours. To do this cathartic mail art project, use an old postcard as a base and everyday materials from your home – scissors, tape, glue, paint, markers, crayons, (neon) sticky notes, colored copy paper, old stickers, old magazines, wrapping paper, even old art and craft projects. Cut out images and paste with a glue stick. Let the process guide you in creating a new image. This blog is helpful to get started: https://gomakesomething.com/ht/thebasics/what-is-mail-art/.
Diedra will be sharing the following with her friends and wanted to share it with us:
From Renuka Vallarapu (CETS)
Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown, PA, fun and educational experiences, including live broadcasts each weekday at 11 am and animal cams: https://www.elmwoodparkzoo.org/epzoo2u/
